Z-300 range
Meterdrive products are destined to displacement measurements in industrial
environnments. This range includes linear incremental detectors using an
accurate metallic perforated rule. Useable measuring lenghts are up to
250 m.

Z-300 : High-accuracy measuring rule
 High
resistance and high accuracy stainless steel perforated rule for Z-301
detector heads. Rule is available in lengths up to 250 m. Fitted with large
perforations enabing system to perform satisfactorily in most industrial
environments. However, care should be taken before using this product in
extremely dusty or fibrous atmospheres such as in wood industry.

Z-301 AAS -0 : High resolution detector
head with assymetrical outputs
 0,1
mm resolution detector head fitted with connector for Z-214 plug. Same
extension cables as Z-201 -0 heads can be used. Reading speed up
to 10 m/s. Assymetrical output signals A, B and E to be compatable with
Z-200 range counters. A and B are usual quadrature signals, while E is
an error signal which occurs when rule or detector glasses are dirty or
when power-supply falls under minimum.

Z-301 S : High resolution detector head
(Old denomination : Z-301 A)

mm resolution detector head fitted with 2 m PVC cable. Reading speed up
to 10 m/s. Output signals A, B and E are symmetrical for best perturbation
protection. A and B are usual quadrature signals, while E is an error signal
which occurs when rule or detector glasses are dirty or when power-supply
falls under minimum.

Z-304 A : PVC shielded cable with symmetrical signal
pairs
 PVC
cable for extension of cable of Z-301 A encoders. It consists in three
separately shielded signal pairs, plus two power lines, plus general screen.
Outside diameter is 9 mm.
Z-306 A : Symmetrical to assymetrical interface
 This
amplifier is designed to adapt symmetrical output of our detectors Z-301
A to counters or SPS which accepts only assymetrical signals. A,
B and E symmetrical signals are converted to corresponding assymetrical
ones. Power requirement of the interface : 12 to 30 V. Output voltage
: programmable by rotary switch : 5V, 12V, Power supply (PS) or NPN open
collector output : SK. Outputs are short-circuit protected.
Z-314 F : Female connector for Z-304 cable
 Female
connector for Z-301 A or B detectors. It is used for prolongators or for
connecting to counters or SPS.
Z-314 M : Male connector for Z-304 cable
 Male
connector for Z-301 A or B detectors. It can be used directly on detector
cable or for prolongator cable. It mates Z-314 F or Z-314 FC.
Z-314 FC : Female connector for panel
 Female
connector to be mounted on front panels or cabinets. Mates Z-314 M connector
described above.
